Cast Coils
Pure aluminium ingots are melted in the furnace, alloyed, and analyzed to ensure the correct composition is achieved. The alloy is then transferred to the holding furnace for direct casting.
In the cast house, the molten metal is continuously cast and solidified into coil form. It is subsequently trimmed using the caster machine with online edge milling, preparing it for the next multi-stage rolling mill.
